Bart Scott, a former Pro Bowl quarterback who played for the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, revealed which quarterback he would rather play against in his career – Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
Scott has played all of his career in the AFC and has had plenty of time to face Brady and Manning during his career. While Brady may have been more successful than Manning in the Super Bowl and NFL playoffs during his 22-year career, Scott said on ESPN Radio earlier in the week that he’d rather play “he “GOAT” than ” The Sheriff”.

“I would rather fight Tom Brady every day of the week than Peyton Manning. I believe that’s how people feel. In the heyday, you would never (players think), “I’m so scared of Tom Brady,” Scott said.
“Peyton Manning gives you a whole new feeling, another level of anxiety. Like, you sleep at night, like, ‘Damn it.’ … With Tom Brady, it’s about Bill Belichick, the whole team, the execution, they have a game plan. ”
Scott adds that preparing for Manning is like studying for the SAT.
FORMER BUCS HEAD COACH BRUCE ARIANS SAYS HE ‘PROBABLY’ IS STILL HEAD COACH IF TOM BRADY SAVE
Brady is entering his 23rd season of his career and is having one of his best seasons ever. He finished the 2021 season leading the league in touches (43) and passes (5,316). He came in second behind Aaron Rodgers in the NFL MVP vote and third in the Offensive Player of the Year vote for Rodgers and the winner, Cooper Kupp.
Brady announced his decision to leave the league in February without mentioning the words “retired” or “retired” and did not initially thank the New England Patriots. On Wednesday, he told “The Dan Patrick Show” that while he was away, his hunger and desire to compete for the Super Bowl returned.
“We spent quite a bit of time together,” he says of spending time with his family. “And I think mostly when I say to the team, look, it’s like you know you guys have to plan without me. And then (general manager) Jason (Licht) and Bruce (Arians) say give it time, you know? I said, look, you know, I feel pretty strong.

Then time goes by and you just get super competitive. I think I’m a bit crazy. I mean, I think it’s realistic. Forty-five years old and I’m here with lots of young men trying to take me down. I see Aaron Donald working out on my Instagram, and I thought, dammit, maybe I should retire because he’s such a monster. But I really want to compete, and it will soon be gone. I mean, there’s no doubt about it and I have to, you know, just really appreciate the time I have left because it’s not much.”
